In the next few weeks 18 months old, Misha and one year-old, Kiyo will be able to have a nosey around their new state of the art £2.3 million home.

The two friends will be living in the Root Zone, one of the exhibit’s four specially designed zones: which have been designed by children for children.

Joining Misha and Kiyo in Animal Adventure will be the Zoo’s ever extending coati family which consists of mum Rosie, dad Quito and youngsters Jimmy, Bertie, Basil and Brush. They will live in the Tree Zone next door to their cape crested porcupine neighbours Nancy, Polly, Blondie and Lena.

Visitors will also get the chance to get up close and personal with llamas Perry and Beegee and a troop of alpacas in the exhibits Touch Zone.
