£5.3 million gorilla attraction in London

Gorilla Kingdom, a pioneering £5.3 million exhibit brings Central Africa to the heart of ZSL London Zoo. It immerses visitors the sights, sounds and smells of the rainforest and brings visitors up close to a group of Western lowland gorillas.

Visitors will walk along a forest path which opens onto a forest clearing, where the gorillas will engage in natural behaviours in their social group. With no bars to separate animals from visitors, simply a moat and sections of glass wall, this exhibit brings people closer than ever to these amazing animals.

£5.3 million attraction changes face of ZSL London Zoo

ZSL London Zoo is changing.

Long at the heart of London’s heritage, the Zoo has begun a new age, bringing an historic landmark into the 21st century with ground-breaking innovation.

A brand new, grand-scale attraction opened in Easter 2007 brings ZSL London Zoo to the forefront of tourist itineraries, making it a must-see tourist destination in the centre of the capital.
