Every aspect of the new Children’s Zoo is infused with fun, aimed at reinforcing children’s love of nature.

Red pandaFrom the moment visitors first set foot on the walkway into the Children’s Zoo, the adventure begins.

Tree Zone

Red pandas and coatis represent the welcoming committee en route to the Tree Zone, where bright colours and interactive information stimulate the senses.

Root Zone

Next up is the Root Zone, where children can snuggle up close to an aardvark, explore underground tunnels like a prairie marmot, and fully get to grips with subterranean life in a risk-free environment.

Splash Zone

AlpacaWe’ve had air and earth – now it’s time for water. The Splash Zone is where children can let off steam, while discovering more about the importance of water to life.

Alongside this zone is the story tepee where children can settle down to a good animal tale, and the Secret Garden, full of natural delights.

Touch Zone

Children will then be able to visit a grooming station in the Touch Zone, try their hand at being a keeper, and get involved in food preparation in the ‘Keeper’s Kitchen’.

Finally, llamas, alpacas and donkeys are on hand to say goodbye at the exit, ending a memorable experience for children that they will never forget.
