He may be heavy but he sure is cute – ZSL Whipsnade Zoo’s newest baby is already a hefty 70kg and he’s only 10 days old! The male Asian one-horned rhino came into the world in rocket fashion early on Guy Fawkes Night, 5th November.

Keepers are giving their reticulated giraffes a frightfully fun piece of action to celebrate the ghostly season of Halloween. Six pumpkins, carved with the traditional Jack O Lantern faces have been provided as a special spooky treat.
