While Friday 13th might be unlucky for some, Crackers certainly is very lucky to be enjoying cake and celebrating her birthday at the ripe old age of 30, making her the 'senior' and grandma figure to the female giraffes she shares her abode with.

Crackers loves nothing better than a cool treat so keepers have made a special frozen birthday cake that will no doubt stimulate her natural curiosity.

ZSL London Zoo keepers were also keen to join in the celebrations and were excited to don their party hats for Crackers’ big day.

Crackers
Crackers arrived in 1985 and has been quite the crowd pleaser at ZSL London Zoo, regularly stretching out her long, muscular tongue for all the visitors to see.

Crackers even let her fellow giraffes, Caragh and Ellish, in on the party, as all three feasted on the birthday iced delight.

Give Crackers a special birthday present - adopt her!
