Sumatran tiger

Animal facts

Their stripes provide good camouflage in the tropical forests where they live.

They also have spots on the back of their ears that they use for signalling.

Sumatran tigers are smaller and darker than the Amur (Siberian) tigers that are kept at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.
