Edmund Flach - ZSL Veterinary Pathologist Starting out in general practice, Edmund studied for an MSc in Tropical Veterinary Medicine, which took him to Tanzania and Morocco. | |
Ilona Furrokh Head Veterinary Nurse All set for a career in zoological research, Ilona realised she enjoyed the more hands on field work and found a job with the RSPCA where they took lots of wildlife and exotics. | |

Claire Cunningham Admin Supervisor Living Collections Studying zoology at university and working at a wildlife trust gave Claire a sound preparation for her work with Veterinary Services. | |
Hannah Barnett Admin Assistant Living Collections Hannah joined the team at the veterinary department in October 2007 after completing a degree in Biology. | |
Shaheed Macgregor Veterinary Microbiologist Shaheed is at the forefront of ZSL’s efforts to safeguard both animals and visitors from zoonoses, diseases which can be transmitted from animals to humans. | |
Belinda Clark Pathology Technician Belinda joined after completing an animal care course, and is responsible for sending off samples, archiving post mortem tissues and maintaining records. | |
Toni Beadle - Animal Care Assistant Toni worked with small primates, gorillas and pigs during her time as a volunteer keeper at London Zoo before becoming the Animal Care Assistant for the Veterinary Department in April 2007. |
