The Institute of Zoology (IoZ)
The Institute of Zoology is a world renowned research centre working at the cutting edge of conservation biology, specialising in scientific issues relevant to preserving animal species and their habitats.
The Institute of Zoology combines fundamental and applied research in four thematic areas:
- Behavioural & Population Ecology
- Biodiversity & Macroecology
- Genetic Variation, Fitness & Adaptability
- Wildlife Epidemiology
The Institute is supported by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), in partnership with University College London.
