Corporate Partners & Testimonials

ZSL has a proven track record of working successfully with business. We are proud to work with a wide range of corporate partners who are involved in UK and international conservation, visitor attractions and education.

Mitsubishi Corporation Fund for Europe and Africa (MCFEA)

Mitsubishi Corporation Fund for Europe and Africa (MCFEA) was established in 1992 by Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation (UK) Plc to promote environmental conservation and education. To date, they have contributed almost £200,000 to ZSL. In March 2007 they provided ZSL with a grant to build a climate change feature in the BUGS! building at ZSL London Zoo, which MCFEA helped establish in 1999. This interactive feature will provide visitors with an introduction to climate change and its global impact on habitats and species.

Timbmet & ZSL: Wildlife Wood Project

Timbmet are leading distributors of hardwoods in the UK, and source much of their product from Ghana, Africa. Timbmet and ZSL are concerned current sustainable timber harvesting techniques do not effectively consider the impact on wildlife, and have consequently developed the Wildlife Wood Project. To bring this project closer to home, Timbmet employees worked with ZSL conservationists to create an educational children’s trail around the zoo, to educate children about how a company’s decisions can effect wildlife.

Sponsors
