Kigu Penguin Outfit

The word ‘Kigu’ is short for ‘kigurumi’, which literally translates as ‘costumed animal character’ in Japanese. Kigurumi are already hugely popular in Japan, where they are worn as both streetwear and pyjamas, but they’ve never been sold outside Asia before.
Kigus are unique in the world of fancy dress. They hang loosely on the body, which makes them really comfy and unrestricting. You can slip in and out of a Kigu in seconds and you can even wear your own clothes underneath!
Each of our Kigu animals is lovingly represented, with exactly the right eyes, ears, nose and tail.

All Kigus come with elasticated wrist and ankle cuffs and some come with pockets too.

Click and Collect

If you wish to pick up your Kigu from ZSL London Zoo please take the following steps:

1) In the delivery address field of the checkout screen enter our post code NW1 4RY and press search.
2) Using the pull down box select the London Zoo address.
3) Bring your email confirmation to the main shop via the east service gate at London Zoo and collect your Kigu.
4) Turn yourself into a party animal.

Sizes

Kigus are meant to be baggy- this makes them really comfy and looks hilarious. Kigus have been specially designed to fit adults and big kids alike. So don’t worry, whether your 5ft or over 6ft tall, a Kigu will easily fit you. One size fits all!
