Anne Nilsson - Administrative Assistant
I am a qualified zoo keeper and worked in one of London’s busiest animal hospitals before I joined the ZSL vet department in 2011.
I was a zoo keeper in Aalborg Zoo in Denmark before I moved to London in 2008. I have also worked in one of London’s largest and busiest animal hospitals and I joined ZSL in September 2011.
I am the administrative assistant for the Vet Department and for the Living Collection and although I am based in the London Zoo Vet Hospital I sometime work in other parts of the administration in both London and Whipsnade Zoo.
Apart from the general administrative tasks, I am also responsible for the medical records archive, assisting the EMS students and writing the Vet Diaries blog about all the interesting things the vets do.
My favourite time of the day is walking through the zoo in the morning, listening to Yoda and Jimmy, the two gibbons, and their amazing sing offs!
