Nic Masters - ZSL Head of Veterinary Services Before joining ZSL in January 2012 Nic worked for International Zoo Veterinary Group for 5 years taking him all around Europe and UK. | |
Tai Strike - ZSL Veterinary Officer Whilst studying veterinary medicine, Tai volunteered at Pretoria Zoo and in game parks in South Africa. | |
Yedra Feltrer - ZSL Veterinary Officer Yedra graduated at the University of Madrid in 1987 and Munich in 1988 where she also took and internship in the surgery and ophthalmology department. | |
Matt Rendle - Senior Clinical Veterinary Nurse, ZSL London Zoo 'I’m a very keen herpetologist,' says Matthew, who has kept and bred reptiles and amphibians since he was ten. | |
Jo Korn - Veterinary Nurse, ZSL London Zoo Jo is responsible for the daily husbandry of the inpatients as well as administering treatments and assisting the vets during surgical procedures. | |

Jo Dodds - Senior Veterinary Nurse, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo Jo joined ZSL in 1997 as the veterinary nurse at Whipsnade. | |
Karla Berry - Veterinary Nurse, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo “Working in the zoo environment has always been my dream job as I get to work with my favourite animals the Giraffes.” | |
Toni Beadle - ZSL Veterinary Department Zoo Keeper Toni worked with small primates, gorillas and pigs during her time as a volunteer keeper at London Zoo before becoming the Animal Care Assistant for the Veterinary Department in April 2007. |
Pathology and Microbiology
Edmund Flach - ZSL Pathologist Starting out in general practice, Edmund studied for an MSc in Tropical Veterinary Medicine, which took him to Tanzania and Morocco. | |
Belinda Clark - ZSL Pathology Technician Belinda joined after completing an animal care course, and is responsible for sending off samples, archiving post mortem tissues and maintaining records. | |
Shaheed Macgregor - ZSL Microbiologist Shaheed is at the forefront of ZSL’s efforts to safeguard both animals and visitors from zoonoses, diseases which can be transmitted from animals to humans. |
Administration
Claire Silva - Administration Supervisor ZSL Living Collections and Vet Department Studying zoology at university and working at a wildlife trust gave Claire a sound preparation for her work with Veterinary Services. |
