Joanna Sutherland – Veterinary Nurse
Jo is responsible for the daily husbandry of the inpatients as well as administering treatments and assisting the vets during surgical procedures.
She is also responsible for booking in routine dentals checks of the animals and ensuring that all the animals are up to date on their vaccinations.
She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2003 at the College of Animal Welfare. Prior to joining ZSL she worked in small and large animal Practice for five years. Jo joined the veterinary department on a part time basis as a locum for maternity cover; she subsequently became a full time member of the nursing team in February 2006.
