Belinda Clark Pathology Technician
Belinda joined ZSL after completing an animal care course, and is responsible for sending off samples, archiving post mortem tissues and maintaining records.
Belinda obtained a B-Tech National Diploma in Animal Care in 1999 from Caple Manor College. She also worked at Caple Manor as a Practical Instructor which involved assisting in the training of students as well as the daily husbandry care of the animals.
She joined ZSL in 2002 as a Pathology Technician assisting the veterinarians with the investigation of causes of death and disease in animals held in the ZSL collections, primarily by prosecting carcases under the supervision of the pathologist and assisting with post mortem and follow-up examinations. Belinda is also responsible for maintaining all the post mortem records and tissues archives so they can be used for future research.
