After the shocking photographs in the paper of the mountain gorilla family that had been shot dead, Find out what is being done to prevent this kind of incident happening again. Come and talk to Dr Noelle Kumpel, ZSL’s Bush meat and Forests Conservation Programmes Manager, who was part of the team that helped to co-ordinate the emergency response in Africa.Find out all about the work ZSL are doing to help with the conservation of gorillas in their native habitats.

Andrew Routh - Chief Veterinarian Officer
Our chief veterinarian at ZSL will be talking about the amazing conservation work he has been involved in with vulture populations in India. In 2000 it was discovered that the number of vultures had declined to about 1% of the original population over the last 30 years. Discover the clues that led us to find the causes of this decline and how we have begun to successfully bring the Indian vultures back from the brink of extinction.
