Jon Beilby - Conservationist
Who let the frog fungus out? Certainly not our resident Amphibian expert, Jon Bielby, who works with the Institute of Zoology at ZSL to discover the effect of fungal infections on Amphibians around the world and why they are devastating wild populations. Come along and find out whether fungus, farming or pharmaceuticals are causing the decline of some of the world's most amazing amphibians and what ZSL is doing to stop it.

Andrew Routh - Chief Veterinary Officer
Our chief veterinarian at ZSL will be talking about the amazing conservation work he has been involved in with vulture populations in India. In 2000 it was discovered that the number of vultures had declined to about 1% of the original population over the last 30 years. Discover the clues that led us to find the causes of this decline and how we have begun to successfully bring the Indian vultures back from the brink of extinction.

Helen Meredith - EDGE Conservationist
The Evolutionarily Distinct and Globally Endangered (EDGE) species programme carries out research in order to prioritise threaten species and sets up and co-ordinates active projects to conserve them. Amphibians are the most endangered class of vertebrates and Helen wants to help increase awareness of how important amphibians are to the environment and also encourage people to care about these special creatures. Come and meet Helen and find out about some of the EDGE species including the Golden Mantella frog, the Mexican axolotl (an aquatic salamander), and the Dominica Mountain Chicken frog.
