The Experiment

We need ZSL London Zoo visitors aged 21 to 60 to take part in a short experiment looking at coordination in human groups. It only takes 20 minutes and consists of a simple collection task and questionnaire.

The Collection Task

The aim is to collect as many green cards as possible and place them into a bucket...a bit like taking groceries off a supermarket shelf and placing them into a trolley.

Sounds simple? The problem is that you cannot see any of the cards that you are collecting, that there are also white cards which you do not want to collect and, that no item can be put back.

If this all seems a bit confusing don't worry...all will become clear and be explained more thoroughly when you come and participate!

The Questionnaire

Just a few short questions regarding your experiences in the collection task and, some of your physical and personality characteristics.
