The British Indian Ocean Territory's marine protected area is the world's largest fully no-take marine reserve. Its marine life is strikingly abundant. This conference will provide both an update on the on-going science and conservation of the archipelago and look at future plans.
This year's research expedition to the Chagos archipelago obtained some excellent scientific results - and you will see spectacular images of island and marine life in an abundance and of a quality that is difficult to replicate elsewhere in today's over-exploited oceans.
