Tigers taste-test their BBQ

As the biggest, wildest night of the year was fast approaching at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, the animals mucked in with the final arrangements.

Whilst the fire dancers were busy rehearsing, and the keepers were decorating the Zoo, the tigers did their bit by taste-testing their food in advance!
The Zoo’s resident Siberian tigers, Mickail and Anastacia, were fed a prime selection of raw meat, their equivalent of a tasty summer BBQ.
Making the most of the summer weather, the tigers dined alfresco on the roof of their hut. Next stop was a nice cool dip in their pool to get all clean and fresh - then they were ready for a really wild Friday night!
