If a safari or a trip into the wilds of Africa is a distant dream, Whipsnade Wild Animal Park is helping bring the plains of the Serengeti National Park to your doorstep this spring. Lions will return to the Park for the first time since 1998

Lion Roaring

This amazing new exhibit at Whipsnade will provide unique and intriguing views of the lions. Set in the heart of Whipsnade's African region, intrepid visitors will enter Tanzania's Serengeti National Park and follow a village trail into the lion viewing shelter. Along the way they will encounter different peoples' views of the lions in the Serengeti, coming to understand some of the complexities of practical conservation.
