Lemurs get in with the music for Zoo Nights
Monday 25 June 2007
Our lemurs are a lively bunch and are preparing for Zoo Nights this Friday. To give them a taste of what’s in store, our keepers have been given some steel drums, which are proving intriguing playthings for the little scamps!
A steel band, stilt-walkers and fire jugglers will be on hand to delight visitors on Friday June 29 as they enjoy a twilight evening among our animals big and small.
Meanwhile, in the Discovery Centre senior keeper Trevor Moxey will be showing off his new arrivals, the Dwarf Mongoose mother and her litter of cute babies, plus his array of invertebrates which the public can meet during the indoor talks on Zoo Nights.
