Take yourself back to a time when beasts walked the land, where wolverine peeped out from shady woodlands and moose stalked the forests in days gone by at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.
Lynx kittens
Rhubarb and Custard, born in the summer of 2011, are the first-born lynx kittens of mum, Maja, and dad, Timo. Known as a crepuscular species, European lynx are most active at the beginning and end of the day so keep that in mind when you come visit them at the Zoo!
Weird, wild and wonderful
Use a snout-nosed spade to snuffle like a wild boar for food, marvel at the large cave painting and moose rock carvings before looking for signs of life through the telescope into the lynx lair
