It’s time for Londoners to pick up their penguin suits and dust off their dancing shoes as ZSL London Zoo opens its doors after dark for Zoo Lates 2013.
Every Friday night in June and July, Zoo Lates gives grown-ups the time to embrace their inner child and see one of the city’s most iconic attractions in a whole new light.
A chance to get up close and personal with London’s biggest party animals, Lates goers will have the opportunity to see the Zoo’s newest residents, Sumatran tigers Jae Jae and Melati enjoying the summer evenings in their £3.6m Tiger Territory exhibit.
Featuring an incredible array of entertainment, including adult sized playrooms complete with ball ponds, cabaret with hilarious sketches from the likes of Aunty Myra’s Swingin’ Safari and the glitter-soaked Dream Bears, as well as improvised comedy from Zoo Lates’ favourites Shotgun Impro.
Offering a place to relax and soak up the buzzing atmosphere of Zoo Lates, there will be a special selection of Bordeaux wines to enjoy in the Bordeaux Jardin du Vin, brand new for 2013 the garden wine bar with a difference will be nestled in the heart of the action.
The Zoo Lates international street food festival will be dishing up mouth-watering meals throughout the night, with more than 21 vendors serving fast, fresh and fabulous cuisine from around the world.

Zoo Lates tickets also include access to the brand new Tiger Territory . Delve deep into the lush foliage of the Indonesian jungle, as you get closer than ever before to one of nature’s most awesome predators, the Sumatran tiger.
Zoo Lates runs from 6-10pm and is an over 18s only event. No BYO glass or alcohol.
