Owls make demonstration a real hoot

ZSL London Zoo's three young burrowing owls are reading for their starring roles, not long after being saved from heavy floods.

Back in June 2008, keeper Darren Jordan was charged with looking after the trio after they were rescued from their flooding underground burrows. Under his care, the owls put on weight, developed into young adults, and were ready for a new phase in their life.
The Animals in Action team have been working very carefully with the three birds, getting them ready for their debut in the Animals in Action demonstrations in the amphitheatre at ZSL London Zoo.
