Lion cubs get early Christmas presents

They’re ZSL London Zoo’s new ‘mane’ attraction and they’re getting into the Christmas spirit early this year.

Three-month-old lion cubs Indi and Heidi enjoyed Christmas puddings and presents this week courtesy of their keepers.
The Christmas puds and presents were filled with treats to spark Indi and Heidi’s natural curiosity and playful nature as they explore their outdoor enclosure.
Zookeeper Paul Kybett says: “This is Indi and Heidi’s first Christmas, so as an early present we thought we would give them everyone’s favourite festive dish – Christmas puddings!
“We put meat in their presents as an extra special gift this year. The playful pair love to explore new things, so hopefully their first Christmas will be a cracker.”
Even the cubs' father, Lucifer, got in on the action and helped "unwrap" some of the presents. Watch the video below to see what went on.
