Why run for ZSL?

The marathon is the big event that every runner wants to complete at least once in their life, and once again, we've got guaranteed places available in the 2013 Brighton Marathon which takes place on Sunday 14th April.

So join our pack and run 26.2 miles whilst taking in the glorious views of England's most popular seaside town!

We face significant challenges ahead with animal extinction rates up to 1000 times higher than the natural level.Within the next century, over half of all known species could become extinct but with your support we can protect animals and their habitats. There is no other organisation better placed to address these challenges than ZSL and here are some of the reasons why...

  • We manage conservation programmes taking place in over 50 countries worldwide
  • We carry out world class science underpinning our conservation programmes
  • We offer excellent educational programmes reaching over 100,000 children a year - the conservationists of the furture.

We only have 7 places in the 2013 Brighton Marathon available to people who want to support ZSL.

To apply for one of our charity places, please complete the 2013 Brighton Marathon Registration form (184 KB)and send this into Lucy Cannock or mail this to the following address: Lucy Cannock, Development Department, The Zoological Society of London, Regents Park, London, NW1 4RY.
