Known as m’bira or marimba all over sub- aharan Africa, thumb pianos are a traditional and timeless African instrument. Not tuned to an exact Western scale, these instruments are as much rhythmic as melodic.

Lightly strike the keys with both thumbs. Be careful- you may find they are quite addictive !
