Professor John Beddington CMG, FRS receives Honorary Fellowship

Professor John Beddington, Chief Scientific Advisor to the UK Government, was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by ZSL’s President Professor Sir Patrick Bateson.

Professor Beddington has a research career grounded in the mathematical analysis of biological populations, for many years specialising in fisheries management.
He has acted as an adviser to industries, governments and commercial operations, while at the same time continuing his career as a research population biologist.
Professor Beddington has been a keen supporter of ZSL’s activities and has served as a member of Council. We are delighted to award him with a lifetime Honorary Fellowship.
