ZSL Whipsnade Zoo’s newest arrival is already standing tall – at almost six feet!
The reticulated giraffe, a baby boy, was born to proud first-time parents Ijuma and Uno at 7am on September 30, taking his first wobbly steps just hours after birth.
Anvil the colobus monkey

ZSL London Zoo’s newest arrival is already winning over Zoo visitors with her adorable smile.
Standing out against mum Sophia’s raven hair, two-week-old colobus monkey Anvil has a completely white coat which will eventually darken as she gets older.
Georgina the pygmy hippo

A rare pygmy hippo is making a big splash at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.
Born in October 2012, the cute calf, called Georgina, is enjoying paddling around her heated indoor pool alongside mum, Flora, and exploring her new surroundings.
Lynx kitten triplets
One proud set of parents at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo had three reasons – following the birth of lynx kitten triplets.
The all-girl trio, born in June to parents Maja and Timo, spent their first few weeks tucked up in their den but soon began exploring outside.
