ZSL launches Keeper for a Day! London Zoo and Whipsnade Wild Animal Park are offering animal lovers a very special chance to ‘panda’ to their passion and work at one of our world famous zoos.
Whether you’re animal crackers or you just want to spoil a friend or loved one at Christmas, this is the perfect opportunity to experience a truly unique behind the scenes glimpse of the workings of one of the UK’s leading animal attractions.
Our Keeper for a Day packages make the ideal present for anyone who has ever dreamed of working with animals. During the session you will get the chance to get up close and personal with a variety of species as you share the day with one of our own keepers. Depending on the scheduled activities you could find yourself feeding our giraffes, cleaning the penguin pool and even going behind the scenes with our fearsome big cats!
There are two different packages to choose from; the full Keeper for a Day or the more compact Introduction to Zoo Keeping, both of which can be booked online at the Zoological Society of London’s (ZSL) secure site www.zsl.org or directly at www.keeperforaday.co.uk . Numbers on the day are strictly limited to five people, so that we can be sure all of our Keepers for A Day are treated to a totally unique experience. As if all of this wasn’t enough, every penny you spend with ZSL helps to support our worldwide conservation work.
