De-stress on World Oceans Day in London Zoo's Aquarium

To celebrate this year's World Oceans Day the Zoological Society of London is putting on a series of ocean themed events on Sat 5th June to de-stress and teach visitors the importance of marine conservation.

Adults in need of some chill out time can come and sit and listen to sounds of the sea in our spacious, tranquil aquarium. Meanwhile, youngsters can visit the activity den to design aquatic posters and badges for a chance to win some fantastic prizes*.

Learn about ZSL's own marine conservation work, our collaboration with The Ocean Project and Project Seahorse while understanding the many threats that that today's oceans, reefs and their inhabitants face.

We will also have a discovery 'touch table' in the aquarium and Zoo staff will be on hand all day to answer any fishy questions!

This event is free to all Zoo visitors and will run on the 5th June only

  • The best poster will win a family ticket to the zoo
