ZSL Fellowship Travel Bursaries
Over the last two centuries, ZSL Fellows have championed Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, pioneered field research and set standards for world class breeding programmes. We are looking to inspire and encourage the next generation of leading conservationists by helping students to gain skills and experience while they are studying that starts them on the path to a rewarding career in conservation.
We believe that by giving students the chance to attend conferences or take part in vital overseas projects whilst they are studying we can support the next generation of conservationists today.
The ZSL Fellowship Travel Bursaries are small grants available to ZSL Student Fellows towards the cost of travel to an overseas conference or to take part in an overseas field project. Successful applicants are invited to give a presentation at ZSL when they return focusing on what they have been able to achieve as a result of the bursary they received.
Applications are only open to ZSL Student Fellows. To become a Fellow please see the details on our Fellows page here.
We have a series of deadlines throughout the year. Our last deadline was the end of June 2007. We will be announcing another call for applications later in the year, so please check back here for details.
