Library Volunteers
The Zoological Society of London owns the world’s finest and most extensive zoological library which has been operating since the 1820s.
Volunteers working in the library will be involved in shelving books and journals, assisting library conservation volunteers in cleaning and repairing books, labelling and filing photographs and slides, researching and answering questions from the public, and many other activities. This role is not recommended for people suffering from asthma. It is desirable, but not essential, that applicants should have previous experience of working in a library.
