Du Toit’s torrent frog was described as a new species in 1935 but has not been seen on Mount Elgon in Kenya, its only know location, since 1962. Jacob Mueti Ngwava’s EDGE Fellowship project involves determining the size and location of any remnant population as well as assessing potential threats to the region’s amphibian community. ©Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University
