Risk Assessment
Like all zoos and wildlife parks, we have to operate under the Zoo Licensing Act. We are subject to an annual inspection by enforcing officers, who look at the way we take care of our animals and the safety of visitors and staff. For more details visit our risk assessment page
Zoo Merchandise for Schools
We offer a range of goody bags and toys that can be booked online and picked up on the day of your zoo visit at ZSL.

Post-16 yrs self guided | £8.50 |
Additional adults | £12.75 |

To ensure good supervision, one adult is admitted free for every 10 secondary pupils or every 6 primary pupils. Any adults above this ratio are required to pay the admission price on arrival.
Teachers and accompanying adults are required to supervise children (those under 16 years of age) at all times. Noisy and unruly behaviour upsets the animals and other visitors.

Please note: If you alter the date, education session or cancel a visit ZSL reserves the right to charge an administration fee of £20.
