Booking a school visit
Booking your visit to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is simple and you can either phone the Education Centre or book online.
For ZSL Whipsnade Zoo call 01582 871330 (between 9am and 3pm)
For school visits NOT requiring an educational activity, please use the online: ZSL Whipsnade Zoo booking form
Once a booking has been made, we will send you:
- Confirmation of your booking
- A map and visit information
- A risk assessment
Please note that bookings made via the online form are only processed during term time. Any bookings made during school holidays will not be processed until the subsequent term starts.
Pre-visits for teachers
Once a booking has been made one teacher per class will be automatically allocated free admission to plan their trip.
Education group admission prices
Please pay admission at the entrance on the day of the visit. Cheques should be made payable to 'Zoological Society of London'.

Accompanying adults
Adults are charged £12.50
- One adult is admitted free with every 6 children (Primary)
- One adult is admitted free with every 10 children (Secondary)
Please ensure good supervision. Noisy and unruly behaviour upsets the animals and other visitors.

Coaches
Vehicles using the coach parks will be charged £15 (ZSL London Zoo) and £10 (ZSL Whipsnade Zoo).
