Booking a school visit

Bookings are available for UK schools only.

For school visits NOT requiring an educational activity, please use the on-line booking form

Phone bookings

To book a visit with an educational activity or for general education enquiries please call the Education Department on 020 7449 6557.

The booking line is open Mon - Fri between 9.00am - 5.00pm.

Once a booking has been made, we will send you:

• Confirmation of your booking
• A map and visit information

Pre-visits for teachers

Once a booking has been made one teacher per class will be automatically allocated free admission to plan their trip.

Admission

London LEA schools

The Greater London Authority has sponsored free admission and educational activities to ZSL London Zoo for children in London state Primary and Secondary schools. For adult admission, see below:

All other schools and colleges

Please pay admission at the entrance on the day of the visit. Cheques should be made payable to Zoological Society of London.

Accompanying adults

Adults are charged £10.00

• One adult is admitted free with every 6 children (Primary)
• One adult is admitted free with every 10 children (Secondary)

Please ensure good supervision. Noisy and unruly behaviour upsets the animals and other visitors.

Coaches

Vehicles using the coach parks will be charged £15 to park at ZSL London Zoo.
