London’s New ‘Human Zoo’

Tuesday 16 August 2005

London Zoo is offering exhibitionists the chance to forget their worries, flaunt their natural behaviours and escape the in-laws this August bank holiday weekend!

To demonstrate the basic nature of man as an animal and examine the impact that Homo sapiens have on the rest of the animal kingdom, we are looking for fascinating individuals to take part in the first ever ‘Human Zoo’ exhibit.

With only fig leaves to protect their modesty, the selected Homo sapiens will gather on the world famous Bear Mountain, where they will be cared for by our experienced keepers and kept entertained though various forms of behavioural enrichment.

Individuals wishing to take part in this exciting new exhibit should visit www.zsl.org and explain in 50 words or less, why they wish to be a part of our ‘Human Zoo’. All applications must be submitted by 12 noon on Friday 19th August and will be shortlisted based on their submission. Volunteers must be 18 years or over. Full terms and conditions are available on the website.
