DATE: THURSDAY, 13 APRIL 2000
TIME: 2.45PM FOR 3PM
PLACE: WHIPSNADE WILD ANIMAL PARK - SEALION ARENA (MEET AT ESTATE OFFICE)
Pam St Clement - best known for her role as Pat Evans in Eastenders - will be visiting old friends at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park on Thursday, 13th April, as she launches the second television series of the highly-popular Whipsnade. A keen conservationist, Pam is glad for another chance to meet the sealions - although Liz, Salt and Berkeley will no doubt be more interested in the fish!
Beginning on Anglia TV on 20 April, the programme promises a feast of delights for any animal lover. Pam will take viewers behind-the-scenes at the wild animal park, gaining a unique insight into the lives of the animals and keepers who work there. She will be getting up close to many wonderful creatures and the series includes stories such as the newly-born mischievous baby tiger cubs and hatching of dwarf crocodiles!
As well as the playful Californian sealions, the first programme will also feature Emmett the elephant having a bath, ring-tailed lemurs going to a new home and an orphaned baby - with a difference!
The 13-part series, Whipsnade will be beginning at 7.30pm on Thursday, 20 April on Anglia Television.
