Commercial filming and photography
With an ever increasing portfolio of productions which have been filmed at ZSL London Zoo or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, our reputation as a great choice for filming locations is growing rapidly. We are very film friendly and happy to accommodate production crews of all sizes throughout the year.
An example of the stunning architecture at ZSL London Zoo ZSL understands that co-ordinating film locations can be a complex process.
We aim to simplify that process by offering an array of different types of film locations spread over two sites and large spaces ideal for unit base parking.
ZSL London Zoo is located on the outskirts of Regent's Park in Central London and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo can be found in the heart of Bedfordshire with good access from the M1.
Both sites offer a variety of backdrops, from urban to rural while architecture is dated from the Victorian age to present day - and don't forget the animals!
ZSL London Zoo offers a varied selection of filming locations including a 1970’s library, laboratories, a fully working iron-caged lift and various landscaped areas around the zoo with lush and exotic-looking plantation.

ZSL London Zoo has an impressive list of stunning architecture and lawn areas which can be used for filming purposes. It is ideally located within Central London so you don't even need to leave the City to get those great shots!
ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is set within the stunning countryside of Bedfordshire. The site is spread over 650 acres and offers a variety of woodland and rural backdrops for filming or photography purposes.
